Immunization Program

Two Rivers Public Health Department provides vaccines to our community at several locations (See our calendar here) including at our office in Kearney.  Vaccines prevent illnesses that commonly affect our population.  While vaccines can help prevent the spread of certain diseases, they do not always stop individuals from contracting an illness after being vaccinated for it.  Vaccines help the body learn how to defend itself from disease without the dangers of a full-blown infection. The immune response to a vaccine might cause tiredness and discomfort for a day or two, but the resulting protection can last a lifetime.

If you are unsure if you need a vaccine feel free to contact us or click here for more information.

At this time, all vaccines are by appointment only. Call (888)-669-7154 to make an appointment with a nurse at the health department.
